Union Home Minister Amit Shah Pays Tribute to BSF’s Bravery in Jammu & Kashmir, Says Every Child in India is Proud of Them.

Poonch, Jammu & Kashmir | Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation, Shri Amit Shah, addressed Border Security Force (BSF) personnel today in Poonch, Jammu and Kashmir. During the event, many senior officials including the Lieutenant Governor of J&K, Union Home Secretary, Director of Intelligence Bureau and BSF Director General were also present.
In his speech, Amit Shah thanked the BSF on behalf of 140 crore Indians. He said that BSF soldiers are always the first to face any attack on the country’s borders. “Day and night, 365 days a year, BSF jawans stay alert and ready to protect the country,” he said.
Amit Shah said that because of BSF’s strong presence, no attack can directly harm our country. “The chest of a BSF soldier is our first line of defence,” he added.

Talking about Operation Sindoor, Amit Shah said that BSF troops protected India’s borders in Jammu, Rajasthan and the remote Kutch area with great bravery. He also said that when Pakistan attacked Indian villages after Indian forces hit terrorist camps, BSF soldiers destroyed more than 118 Pakistani posts and broke their surveillance system.
Even during peace, BSF keeps an eye on the enemy’s movements. Shri Shah praised the BSF for their fast and effective action during Operation Sindoor, where they caused major damage to Pakistan’s surveillance equipment.
He said, “This kind of bravery comes from love for the nation, patriotism and a strong will to sacrifice everything for the country.” He added that today, every child in India knows about the courage and sacrifice of BSF soldiers.

Amit Shah’s visit to Poonch and his heartfelt words have deeply encouraged the BSF personnel.
