Assam | Today, Rahul Gandhi, during the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, held a press conference where he stated, “We have initiated the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, starting from Manipur to convey a message. Manipur is burning, and Prime Minister Modi has not visited there. In Assam, you can see what is happening. The idea behind this Nyay Yatra is justice, and it has our five principles. The five justices that will empower the country: Youth Justice, Participation Justice, Women  Justice, Farmer Justice, and Labor Justice. The Congress party will present this program before you in the next one or one and a half months.”

During the press conference, Rahul Gandhi remarked, “While conducting our Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, individuals from the BJP, who are staging protests, are waving at me. They hold the BJP flag in one hand and greet me with the other. I respond by blowing kisses, and they continue to wave. Mr. Himanta, Chief Minister of Assam  seems to perceive it as a protest, but there is no protest occurring there. The state is facing clear challenges. The Chief Minister of Assam is among the most corrupt in the country. As I travel across the state, people consistently express concerns about unemployment, inflation, corruption, and the struggles faced by farmers. This is the prevailing situation, and we are highlighting these issues.”

In his media briefing, Rahul Gandhi stated, “Actually, the Chief Minister of Assam is opposing our Nyay Yatra. Firstly, this is benefiting our Yatra as it brings us publicity. So, it’s advantageous for us. The main issue today is our Nyay  Yatra in Assam. As far as preventing us from entering temples, colleges, and halting our padyatra is concerned, this is their style. We are not afraid of them. Our message of justice is reaching the people. It is going to every village. The public is asking, ‘Rahul Gandhi wants to visit temples and talk to students. Why are they stopping him? Padyatras happen for leaders like Nadda Ji, for Bajrang Dal, but not for Congress. Why is that?'” Rahul Gandhi said.

On an another question Rahul Gandhi answered,  “On one side, there is Narendra Modi and the RSS, on the other side is INDIA. INDIA is a stream of thoughts, a mindset, and today INDIA has approximately 60% of the votes in the country.”
