Delhi | On the joyous occasion of Diwali, Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi visited the historic Ghantewala sweet shop in Old Delhi, one of the most loved sweet shops. His visit brought festive cheer as he interacted warmly with the shopkeepers and local people, even trying his hand at making Imarti and Besan Laddus. The visit reflected his message of celebrating Diwali through togetherness, tradition and the sweetness of human connection.
Rahul Gandhi has extended warm Diwali greetings to the people of India through his message on X.
He said, “Heartfelt Diwali greetings to all fellow citizens. May India be illuminated by the lamps of happiness, and may every courtyard be filled with the light of joy, prosperity and love.”
