New Delhi | Congress leader Rahul Gandhi addressed a massive public gathering at the ‘Jai Bapu, Jai Bhim, Jai Samvidhan’ meeting in Seelampur, Delhi, ahead of the Delhi Assembly elections scheduled for February 5, 2025. In his passionate speech, Rahul Gandhi emphasized his vision for an inclusive and progressive India while taking strong jabs at the BJP and AAP governments over rising inflation and inequality.
Rahul Gandhi declared, “Our politics is rooted in clarity—every individual in this country is equal. Love will always overcome hatred, and peace will defeat violence. My commitment is lifelong: if any Indian, irrespective of religion, caste or community, faces injustice, you will find me standing for their protection.”

Speaking about his dream for India, Rahul Gandhi said, “I envision a nation where there is no hatred and even the poorest individuals, regardless of their background, can dream big and achieve those dreams. We will not allow a system where billionaires control everything. This is not the India we desire.”
Highlighting issues like inflation, Rahul Gandhi criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for failing to control rising prices. “Both leaders promised to reduce inflation, but the reality is that the poor are getting poorer, and the rich are growing richer,” he said.

Rahul Gandhi also reiterated his demand for caste-based census and promised greater representation for marginalized communities. “When I raise the issue of caste census, neither Modi ji nor Kejriwal ji utter a single word because they don’t want Dalits, backward classes, tribals and minorities to get their rightful share. When Congress forms the government, we will increase the reservation beyond 50% and ensure the passage of the caste census in both Houses of Parliament.”
He further assured the people of Delhi, “Once our government is formed in Delhi, we will conduct a caste census immediately. This will reveal how much representation Dalits, backward classes, and minorities have in the city’s administration and institutions.”

Urging the public to support Congress, Rahul Gandhi said, “Give full support to the Congress party, elect our candidates and let us form the government in Delhi. We will resume the path of development that the world admired during Sheila Dikshit’s tenure. Today, Delhi is struggling with inflation, poor roads and pollution. Only the Congress party can bring real progress.”
The Seelampur gathering witnessed a massive turnout, with people cheering Rahul Gandhi’s message of equality, development and accountability.
