Bhatkal | The General Secretary of Rabita Society (Bhatkal) and Member, All India Muslim Personal Law Board Dr. Muniri Atiqur Rehman, has strongly condemned the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. He said that the incident is extremely tragic and such acts of terrorism are shameful and deserve the harshest condemnation. Dr. Muniri expressed deep sorrow for the victims and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.
Speaking to the media, Dr. Muniri said, “No matter how much we condemn this attack, it is still not enough. We demand that those responsible for this cruel act must be identified quickly and given the strictest punishment.” He further said that criminal acts committed in the name of religion are dangerous for the peace and security of the country. Such acts not only take innocent lives but also spread fear among people.
After the Pahalgam attack, Dr. Muniri explained that terrorism has no religion, and no religion supports violence. Islam is a religion of peace, love and tolerance.
Dr. Muniri appealed to everyone not to blame any particular community for the actions of a few misguided people. He said that terrorists do not represent Islam or any other religion. He urged everyone to stand united against terrorism and to work together to promote harmony, brotherhood and peace across the country.
He also conveyed his deep sympathy and solidarity with the families of those who lost their lives or were injured in the attack. “We pray to Allah to protect not only the victims’ families but also the entire country and all humanity from such cruel incidents,” he said.
“May Allah protect every citizen of India and all humanity. We strongly demand that the harshest action be taken against those involved in terrorism. We once again urge the government to take every possible step to prevent such attacks in the future,” Dr. Muniri added.
In conclusion: “In these difficult times, it is important for all citizens to come together and stand united against terrorism. We must not allow hate and fear to divide us. As Dr. Muniri Atiqur Rehman rightly said, terrorism has no religion and no place in a peaceful society. Let us all work together to spread peace, love and brotherhood and support every effort to keep our country safe and secure.” ~ Dr. B R Abdul Wajid.
