New Delhi | Dr. Rezwan Razack, a well-known Indian currency collector and numismatist, has been honoured with the 60th Anniversary Medal by the International Bank Note Society (IBNS). The award was announced by Mrs. Pam West, President of IBNS, based in Sutton, Surrey, England.
In her message, Mrs. Pam West congratulated Dr. Rezwan Razack and praised his dedication and hard work in the field of banknote collecting. She appreciated his continued support and contribution to the IBNS over many years.
“This medal recognises all the hard work you have put into our hobby over the years and your valued support of the International Bank Note Society,” said the IBNS President. She further added that members of the IBNS have recognised Dr. Razack’s enthusiasm and contributions, especially in their 60th anniversary year of 2021.
Dr. Rezwan Razack is a respected figure in the world of numismatics and has made significant efforts in preserving and promoting Indian paper money history. This international recognition is a proud moment for India and the Indian numismatic community.

Dr. Rezwan Razack, currently the chairman of the International Bank Notes Society – India Chapter; is the Co-Founder & Joint MD of the India’s leading real-estate Developer – the Prestige Group, a company that has defined the sky lines of the Bengaluru & other cities in India.
Dr. Rezwan Razack’s 50 – year old journey has seen numerous academic publications and research papers. He co-authored ‘The Revised Standard Reference Guide to Indian Paper Money’ in 2012 & then authored – ‘One Rupee – One Hundred Years (1917-2017) in 2017. Besides academics, he has been instrumental in inspiring a whole generation of young numismatists, researchers & collectors by hosting workshops and numismatic events.
Following his dream, he came up with a museum – Rezwan Razack’s Museum of India Paper Money in Bengaluru in 2019. The museum showcases this monumental treasure and is a testimony to his hard work & commitment towards the subject and touches each facet of the evolution of money in India.
A lifetime dedicated to Indian Paper Money; Dr. Rezwan Razack is truly the ‘Paper-money Man of India’ and with his efforts he has preserved this national heritage of India & dedicated this to our Nation & Citizens of India.
