Bengaluru : Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has penned a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, drawing attention to the grave allegations against sitting Hassan Lok Sabha Member of Parliament (MP) and NDA candidate, Prajwal Revanna. The letter, dated 1st May 2024 highlights the serious nature of the accusations, which involve the alleged sexual exploitation of numerous women.
In the letter, Siddaramaiah emphasizes the urgency of the matter, revealing that the Karnataka government has already taken proactive steps by constituting a Special Investigation Team (SIT) under the Criminal Investigation Department (CID). He assures that the SIT of Karnataka will cooperate fully with the central authorities and international law enforcement agencies to facilitate the apprehension and extradition of the accused MP.
The letter concludes with a plea for urgent action, emphasizing the need for cooperation between state and central agencies to uphold the principles of justice and accountability.
