New Delhi | Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the India AI Impact Expo 2026 at Bharat Mandapam on 16th February 2026 in New Delhi and said that the event provided a glimpse of the extraordinary potential of Artificial Intelligence, along with India’s talent and innovation. He expressed confidence that India will play a key role in developing AI solutions not only for the nation but also for the benefit of the entire world.
The Prime Minister said that Artificial Intelligence is transforming many important sectors such as healthcare, education, agriculture, governance and business. He added that the summit will help in strengthening global discussions on innovation, collaboration, and responsible use of AI. He expressed confidence that the outcomes of the summit will help create a progressive, innovative, and opportunity-driven future.
Prime Minister Modi welcomed world leaders, captains of industry, innovators, policymakers, researchers and technology enthusiasts to the AI Impact Summit. The summit brings together global experts to discuss the future of Artificial Intelligence and its role in improving human life.
The summit is being held under the theme “Sarvajana Hitaya, Sarvajana Sukhaya – Welfare for All, Happiness for All”, which reflects India’s commitment to using Artificial Intelligence for inclusive development and human-centric progress. The summit aims to promote collaboration, innovation and responsible use of AI for the benefit of society.
