He further said that he had been in constant touch with all the important officials and investigation agencies throughout the night. “Discussions were going on, and all the threads of information are being connected. Earlier, the Prime Minister also posted on X expressing his condolences. He wrote:
“Condolences to those who have lost their loved ones in the blast in Delhi earlier this evening. May the injured recover at the earliest. Those affected are being assisted by authorities. Reviewed the situation with Home Minister Amit Shah Ji and other officials.”
PM Modi’s emotional words reflected the nation’s collective pain and determination to ensure justice for the victims.
Yesterday evening, Union Home Minister Amit Shah visited the blast site near Delhi’s Red Fort and reviewed the situation in detail. He was briefed by the Delhi Police Commissioner and other senior officials about the incident and the ongoing investigation. Later, the Home Minister visited Lok Nayak Jai Prakash (LNJP) Hospital to meet the injured and spoke to the doctors about their treatment, assuring all possible help from the government. Amit Shah said that a detailed investigation has been launched from every possible angle. He informed that soon after the incident, teams from the Delhi Police Special Cell, Crime Branch, National Investigation Agency (NIA), National Security Guard (NSG) and Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) reached the site and began their work to find out the cause of the blast. The Home Minister also said that soon after the news of the explosion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi personally called and took stock of the situation, and added that the investigation is being carried out thoroughly and no possibility will be ruled out until all evidence is analysed.
The nation remains in shock over the tragic blast in the capital and both the Prime Minister and the Home Minister have assured that those behind this cowardly act will be punished. Security across Delhi and other major cities has been strengthened and all agencies are working together to uncover the full conspiracy. People across the country have expressed their solidarity with the victims and their families, hoping that justice will soon be delivered and peace restored.
