Dr. Syed Naseer Hussain Dismisses Allegations of Controversial Slogans, Demands Investigation

Bengaluru | In the recent Rajya Sabha elections in Karnataka, the ruling Congress party secured three seats while the BJP clinched one, marking a significant political development in the state.
Amidst the celebrations by party workers and supporters following the announcement of the election results, a controversy arose over alleged slogans raised during the festivities.
Dr. Syed Naseer Hussain, Rajya Sabha MP and a prominent figure within the Congress party, addressed the controversy through a social media message. He stated that while he was present amidst the celebratory crowd, he did not hear any slogans of the nature that have since been reported.
Denying any involvement or knowledge of slogans such as “Pakistan Zindabad” allegedly raised during the celebration, Dr. Naseer Hussain emphasized the need for a thorough investigation by the authorities.
He urged the police to conduct a comprehensive inquiry to ascertain the veracity of the claims, including examining the possibility of video manipulation or misrepresentation.
Dr. Naseer Hussain affirmed his commitment to upholding the law and stated that if indeed such slogans were raised, the individuals responsible must be held accountable.
Reiterating his faith in the democratic values of the country, Dr. Naseer Hussain expressed confidence that no citizen would tolerate slogans detrimental to national integrity.
He concluded by emphasizing the importance of awaiting the results of the police investigation before drawing any conclusions, pledging full cooperation with the authorities in the matter.
