New Delhi | The Indian National Congress has announced that it will organise a series of public meetings called ‘Jai Hind Sabhas’ across the country between May 20 and May 30, 2025. This initiative is to honour and salute the bravery and achievements of the Indian Armed Forces.

Congress General Secretary (Organisation) and MP Shri K.C. Venugopal shared this information on social media. In his post, he said that the party will not only salute the Armed Forces but will also raise serious questions about national security and the current government’s handling of the issue.

He mentioned that the Congress party is especially concerned about recent security lapses and the alleged involvement of the United States in matters related to India’s national security. “The government’s silence on this issue is very worrying,” he said.

The ‘Jai Hind Sabhas’ will be held in the following cities:

Delhi, Barmer, Shimla, Haldwani, Patna, Jabalpur, Pune, Goa, Bengaluru, Kochi, Guwahati, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bhubaneswar and Pathankot.

These events will include participation from retired Army officers, senior Congress leaders, and the general public. The party aims to create awareness among citizens about national security and the need for accountability from the government.

Through these ‘Jai Hind Sabhas’, the Congress party hopes to awaken public consciousness about both the strength of our Armed Forces and the urgent need for transparent governance in matters of national security. By bringing together veterans, citizens and political voices, the party aims to promote patriotic unity while holding the government accountable for its actions and inactions.
