Kharge accused Prime Minister Modi of failing to fulfill his promises. He questioned the credibility of Modi’s pledges regarding job creation, black money retrieval and housing for all. Kharge accused the BJP of betraying the people’s trust and resorting to manipulative tactics without substance.
“PM Modi is endeavoring to undermine the nation. He speaks of ‘meri guarantee,’ no longer mentioning ‘BJP’s or government’s guarantee.’ Let me outline PM Modi’s assurances. In 2014, he promised to provide 2 crore jobs annually to the youth, did he deliver? He pledged to recover black money and deposit Rs 15 lakhs in people’s bank accounts, did that occur? Did PM Modi deceive? He also vowed to ensure ‘pakka’ houses for everyone, yet, did he fulfill this promise?” Kharge questioned.
Today, in his message while addressing the gathering, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said that “Until you remove Narendra Modi from power, there will be no happiness and prosperity in the country.”
