Congress Launches Interactive Platform for Public Input on Lok Sabha Manifesto

New Delhi | In a bid to create a manifesto that truly represents the aspirations of the people, the Indian National Congress has introduced a dedicated website and email address for citizens to contribute their suggestions. National spokesperson Supriya Shrinate addressed the media today at AICC HQ, New Delhi unveiling the initiative and emphasizing the party’s commitment to listening to the public.

The newly launched website, https://awaazbharatki.in serves as an interactive platform where individuals can submit their suggestions for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Shrinate highlighted the simplicity of the process, involving entering name, pincode, and mobile number, followed by an OTP for enhanced security. Additionally, an email address, awaazbharatki@inc.in has been provided for those who prefer to send their recommendations separately.

Speaking at the press conference in New Delhi, P Chidambaram, the head of the Manifesto Committee for the Congress Party, emphasized that the upcoming manifesto would be a “people’s manifesto.”  He also said that ‘Today, we are launching two more vehicles to collect suggestions – an email ID and a website. We invite the people of India to send their suggestions by email. The website gives you the option to send your suggestions subject-wise. We sincerely appeal to the people of India to use these vehicles and help us make it a people’s manifesto.’ P Chidambaram said.

Supriya Shrinate acknowledged the significance of digital participation in the modern era, noting that while on-ground consultations would take place, the online platform aims to involve as many people as possible in shaping the party’s agenda. The website, awaazbharatki.in is now live, inviting citizens to actively contribute and play a role in the formulation of the Congress Party’s manifesto for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
