Dr. M. Fazal Ahmed Elected President of ‘The Muslim Orphanage’ in Bengaluru; New Team Takes Charge

Bengaluru | Serving in an orphanage is not just a responsibility, but a noble service to humanity. Caring for orphan children is considered a special blessing, as it is believed that the Almighty chooses those individuals who have the sincerity, compassion and dedication to serve these children. It is through such service that one not only supports the lives of orphans but also fulfills a higher purpose of kindness and social responsibility. Those who get this opportunity are entrusted with a meaningful duty to guide, protect and uplift the future of these children.

In a significant development, elections for the 21-member Managing Committee of ‘The Muslim Orphanage’ in Bengaluru were successfully conducted. The “Diamond Syndicate” group, which includes members of the existing committee, achieved a remarkable victory by defeating the rival group with a huge margin.

In a meeting held yesterday evening, the newly elected members selected the office bearers. Dr. M. Fazal Ahmed was elected as President, Naveed Ahmed Khan as Secretary, Javed Ahmed Khan alias Javed Patel as Vice President, Mohd Ibrahim Shafeeq as Treasurer and Tazaiyun Omar as Joint Secretary of ‘The Muslim Orphanage’.

The newly elected team expressed their commitment towards the overall development of the institution and better care for orphan children. They assured that all members will work together in unity to improve services and introduce new plans for the education and growth of orphan students.

Speaking to the media, Secretary Naveed Ahmed Khan said that this is their fifth term in the organization, showing the trust people have in them. He said their focus will be on improving the education system and also plans to open a new branch of the orphanage in North Karnataka. He further added that efforts will be made to establish an academy to prepare orphan students for competitive examinations.

Naveed Ahmed Khan said that the team’s aim is to ensure the growth of the institution while continuing welfare activities for the community. He also assured that all work will be done by following the bylaws of the organization.

Naveed also highlighted the developments achieved in recent years, including improvements in revenue, education and infrastructure. He proudly shared that many orphan students from the institution have become engineers, doctors and professionals in various fields.

While speaking to Dr. B R Abdul Wajid, President Dr. M. Fazal Ahmed said that he has been serving the organization for over two decades and is honoured to take up the role of President. He assured that he will give his full efforts for further progress of the orphanage.

Vice President Javed Patel described the election as a healthy competition and thanked members for their support. He said that the scholarship fund, which started at ₹5 lakh, has now grown to ₹1.5 crore. He added that the organization is not only supporting its own students but also helping other orphan students across the state.

Joint Secretary Tazaiyun Omar said that the team will continue to work sincerely for the welfare of the orphanage and its beneficiaries. She added that all ongoing schemes will be strengthened and improved in the future.

The newly elected Managing Committee of The Muslim Orphanage has taken charge with a strong vision for growth, unity and service. With a focus on education, expansion and welfare activities, the team aims to take the institution to greater heights while continuing its dedicated service to orphan children and the community.
