Munich, Germany : Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha and Member of Parliament from Raebareli, Shri Rahul Gandhi, visited BMW World in Munich, Germany, where he took a guided tour of BMW Welt and the BMW manufacturing plant.

During his visit, Rahul Gandhi expressed happiness on seeing the TVS 450cc motorcycle developed in partnership with BMW. He described it as a proud moment to see Indian engineering and manufacturing capabilities showcased on a global platform.

Rahul Gandhi said that manufacturing is the backbone of strong and developed economies. He expressed concern that manufacturing in India is declining and stressed the urgent need to reverse this trend.

He further said that to accelerate India’s economic growth, the country must focus on producing more, building strong and meaningful manufacturing ecosystems, and creating high-quality jobs on a large scale. His visit highlighted the importance of learning from global manufacturing leaders like Germany to strengthen India’s industrial future.
