Washington, D.C., United States | At the White House, US President Donald Trump praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi, calling him “a great Prime Minister” and saying he will always be friends with him. He said India and the United States share a special relationship and “there is nothing to worry about.” Trump also recalled Modi’s recent visit, mentioning their time together in the Rose Garden.

Responding to President Trump’s remarks, Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared a message on X. He said, “Deeply appreciate and fully reciprocate President Trump’s sentiments and positive assessment of our ties. India and the US have a very positive and forward-looking Comprehensive and Global Strategic Partnership.”

The exchange of warm words between the two leaders highlights the importance of the India-US relationship, which continues to grow stronger in areas of strategic cooperation, trade, and global partnership.
