This year’s International Yoga Day theme is “Yoga for One Earth, One Health”. PM Modi explained that yoga teaches us the deep connection between our own health and the health of the environment—like soil, rivers, plants, and animals. “Yoga moves us from ‘Me’ to ‘We’, teaching us care, harmony, and collective responsibility,” he said.

The Prime Minister also addressed the growing stress and unrest across the world and said that yoga is the pause button humanity needs — to breathe, balance and heal. He called for a ‘Yoga for Humanity 2.0’, where inner peace becomes a global policy, and yoga is adopted as a tool for world cooperation and peace.
